4th of December marked my visit to Gunungsewu UGGp. I met pak Budi Martono @cak_boeddimartono directly, the General Manager of Geopark Indonesia Network (Jaringan Geopark Indonesia). He brought me to have a quick tour to the Geopark information Center in Gunungkidul, one region that is covered by Gunungsewu UGGp. I met Rifki @muhrifkyrfd and Alfarisi @zack_alfarizi , two of active youths to sustain the local geopark communities there. Not to mention a day before I had a chance to meet mas Obed @obedkresna , the youth as well that live in Jogjakarta and we had an enough time to discuss about the IGYF shape for better coordination with the regional one.
.
.
I had a chance to visit Nglanggeran, a geosite which has the Nglanggeran Tourism Village( in my previous post that has acquired best Tourism Village in the world) I had a chance to climb and witness the oldest formation rock and terrain on the central Java, explain and guided by both youths. It was a bit rainy but we managed to reach mid-top, concerning our quite tight time.
.
.
We then proceed to see one of the geoproduct shop, we called it Cholocate Geoproduct. One fact that we should know, that Nglanggeran Geosite produce local chocolate that are managed locally by the citizen to be one of the selling geoproduct. It is incredible!

.
What is great about Gunungsewu UGGp is that this is the only UGGp that covers three provinces in Indonesia! From Gunungkidul to Wonogiri to Pacitan (Jogja-Central Java-East Java) much on the south side. Last but least, a lot more places you can visit here, I am sure you will feel the unique experience while traveling on Gunungsewu UGGp. Not to prolong much,
Semangat Pemuda, Salam Geopark!
