Tour de Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UGGp

27th of November 2021 was my visit to Ciletuh-Palabuharatu UNESCO Global Geopark, had a full day discussion with the Youth Forums. It was an engaging session, where we had a chance to visit one of the geosite, named Geosite Cisolok ( one of two the only vertical geyser in the world), visited Kasepuhan Cirindeuy( one of the sustain community of local tribe in the territory), tried local grilled fish and coconut.

Overall, the Youth Forum here is organized and created from existing communities of youths all over the UGGp. Some of them is one of the tourguide, scuba divers, open water teachers, Sadar Wisata, pramuka organization, and a lot more. CPUGGp has been there for more than 6 months and they have developed a specific program on geopark education, namely « Geopark goes to School » where they nurtured high school students all over CPUGGp on geopark and appoint the students as the geopark ambassador for their near environment.

Please visit CPUGGp, Where the original land of Java, Jampangan Plateau is founded here. Monyet ekor panjang, Penyu laut, and Pare Cere( Local Paddy, they have 62 variants, one of the culture is that they are not selling it to anybody! Instead, they do barter(exchange) with their neigbors). Amazing!
